I just want to say a huge thank you to all that entered and came and supported the Classic Cover Kaikoura Hop 2021 it was a long road to get there.
We battled with covid lockdowns postponed dates changing rules
and regulations it would of been easier to cancel but the true kiwi spirit I fought it till the end and my last battle was the bloody weather.
I like to give a massive thank you to all our sponsors for staying with us and to our special friends for helping us out over the weekend you guys truly rock.
We’ll be back next year bigger and better.

2022 lots of new little events popping up at the hop this year. It’s all about having fun so our first new event we be holding is our
🚀🚀🚀CLASSIC COVER KAIKOURA HOP ROCKET COVER RACING🚀🚀🚀
We will be holding two events one for the registered customers on the Friday it will be at one of the stops on the poker run and another one on Saturday for everyone attending the show.
The Rocket Cover Racer’s
🚀The cars shall have no power source. All motive force is provided by gravity, Gravity is your friend
🚀Cars shall be based on an actual rocker cover
🚀Wheelbase shall be no more than 350mm.
🚀Wheel track shall be no more than 250mm.
🚀Overall length of car shall be no greater than 550mm.
🚀Overall width of car shall be no greater than 250mm.
🚀Cars must have three-four wheels, each no more than 125mm in diameter.
Get creative with your builds prizes for the overall winners of the adult and kids sections. Plus spot prizes for best looking the ugliest ,themed etc.
